Senior managing attorney of the Older Adults Programs practice at Community Legal Services (CLS), Lizzie Johnson, authored an article for Estate Planning Journal that highlighted the vital contributions of pro bono attorneys at organizations like (CLS) make, regardless of financial status, towards providing accessible estate planning services, education and document review. The piece outlined typical obstacles that hinder people’s ability to have proper estate documents in order and the impact those challenges can have on families who then have to navigate unexpected health and financial situations during life and after death.

Johnson concluded by inviting the estate planning community to join in on the effort of CLS in educating and guiding individuals in this crucial process.
