Last Will and Testament, Advance Directives, and Power of Attorney are common legal documents used to plan for a person’s life and distribute a person’s possessions and estate after death. These documents and the work you must do to create them is sometimes called “life planning.”
Life planning is not something that is only for older people to consider. If you need to create documents like this for yourself or your loved ones, read more here. You may contact the CLS Helpline for direct assistance or advice by dialing (800) 405-1417.
You may also find the Florida Bar’s Wills Pamphlet and Probate Pamphlet helpful to understanding how these processes work in Florida.
